Remembering Adam Smulik, Founder
On May 23, 2008, Little Rascals Pet Sitting lost its founder, Adam Smulik. Although only age 33, Adam's life touched many more individuals, and was filled with more living, than many who live three times the years he spent with us.
Little Rascals Pet Sitting has continued under the direction of Adam's mother, Annette Beverly. Annette has more than a decade of experience caring for clients' pets, and served as Adam's inspiration when starting his business.
This portion of our web site has been dedicated to Adam's memory which, for all who knew Adam, pales in comparison to his life and his experiences.
We are reminded constantly our clients and our clients' pets miss Adam's winning smile and outgoing manner. We remain humbled and forever grateful for your outpouring of support and continued loyal business.
We look forward to the continued opportunity to serve you and care for your four-legged family members - your pets.
Adam M. Smulik, 1975 - 2008
I'm Free
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call;
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way;
I found peace at the end of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
Oh yes, these things, I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much;
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seems all too brief;
Don't lengthen your pain with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and peace to thee,
God wanted me now - He set me free.
